Troop Care Packages
For the past several years the Paradise Iowa Club has been supporting various Iowa National Guard and Army Reserve Units serving overseas. Every Unit has requested different kinds of support; from phone cards so soldiers can call home to their families over the holidays, to necessities that are hard to come by overseas such as chap stick and travel size toiletries, to reminders of home such as DVD’s, CD’s, books, and snacks. The Paradise Iowa Club has sent over 100,000 phone minutes and thousands of pounds of supplies to these units. Below are a few pictures some of the troops have sent us, as well as a picture of Annette standing next to a stack of boxes so you can get an idea of how much we sent!
